Mini Highland Games for Team Building
For a truly unique experience in Scotland for corporate, incentive, stag or hen groups, why don’t you hold your own mini Highland Games? It’s ideal as an outdoor activity with friends and colleagues.
The unique Winton Highland Games draws on the farming traditions of East Lothian and Scotland.
You could experience the following: tossing the caber, wheatsheaf pitching, rolling the straw bale, axe throwing, welly wanging, Winton ski walking, horse shoe hurling, piping & dancing, the Winton dash, and end with a competitive tug-o’-wars finale.
We can cater for groups of 8 to 300 in Winton’s extensive grounds. Our mini Highland Games typically take 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

The Winton Highland Games has a competitive edge but always generates lot of laughs. They are regularly one of our most popular team building and incentive events for corporate groups.
Ideally, for larger groups guests should be split into teams (or clans) before arrival to save time. Each clan will choose a chieftain who will be given a shield and proudly take their clan into battle!
Everyone gets involved in a Winton Highland Games, even during the winter months, and there’s always plenty of whisky to be won! Prizes can be awarded over lunch or tea, by Sir Francis (if he’s available).
